Wordpress Plugins have been taking up a lot of my time lately, mainly because there are so many out there.
I already have far too many installed on this blog, which is part of the reason my site takes a little while to load. Anyway, that’s another topic for discussion another time.
Today I want to share a few interesting Wordpress Plugins I found on the Internet.

Thank you for the links to the Top Ten plugins. I’m going to evaluate the Global Translator with my students in a class on social media I’ve been teaching at a youth center. Some of the kids speak English as a second language.

I’d say the number one plugin to have is All in one SEO plug in (or any SEO type plug in). Its a great way to build search traffic when you add the right info for each post.

The ones like most are zemanta’s related post plugin, I also like ‘nofollow case by case’ where I can choose not to give dofollow link to ‘bad’ sites
“Redirection” is my favorite plugin is often the first one that I install. Wordpress uses 302 redirects by default and most webmasters don’t even notice that. I switch to 301 redirect between www and non-www URLs as soon as I make a new blog.

Wordpress is very easy to use and the huge amount of plugins makes it to a very useful cms. But the often updates sucks and are not easy to handle for plugin programmers.

Thank you, I found this post to be very informative to me about some of the plug ins for wordpress. I always get confused when I see the thousands of available plug ins. I never know which ones are worth my time.
