  16. I always thought about creating a blog for my automotive website but i never decided to do it. Mainly because i never knew how successful it was going to be and i’m the type of person that don’t become motivated to do things unless i know it ill work.

But after reading this, i might have to give it a shot. since there are so many people who says that blogging is a must these days, i might as well go for it.

  17. I’m convinced I need to get off blogger and get my blog onto wordpress. WordPress seems to have so much flexibility via plugins. Is there a list anywhere of all of the wordpress plugins with a plain english fast descriptiopn of what the plugin does (for a non-technology person). Also, is there a list of wordpress geeks who are available to add plugins and features to blogs maintained by marketing people?

  19. I’ve only recently started blogging but I started hosting my own blog straight away. I like the flexibility of being able to adjust things to my own liking and being able to integrate it into my existing site.

I think overall the biggest thing I prefer with it is that it keeps the same layout as my existing site along with the same domain name. I find it seems a little more professional if it all appears to be coming from the same place.

  23. Thanks for the nice article. We use self hosted WordPress for our blog as well, but finding plugins for every little thing is kinda annoying.

Yes it can be annoying for some, but I get a real buzz out of looking for plugins. You may have noticed that from the amount of posts I do about them.
