It’s been a while since I’ve written something here, mainly due to the fact I have been setting up some new sites for testing (results will be posted here when ready). Robert. Unfortunately I didn’t get the link to your site in your comment so I cannot refer to it for a more in-depth analysis. In general it is best to try and focus on one or two main keywords and post mainly about that topic. You also need to have a category in your Wordpress with the same keyword and also use the keywords field when writing posts. When you write your post try and have your keyword in the first and last paragraph, plus a couple of times throughout your test. Be sure you don’t overload or do keyword farming because the search engines are onto this now and penalise your site if you do so.

What are the best ways to build backlinks for a new site, and why?

Tool Belt. First I like to ask if you could use your name in future as I prefer to answer these question and address a real person instead of a keyword. I have the KeywordLuv plugin installed on my site which does a better job anyway (hint for anyone else reading this post).
Now to your question.
As I’m not sure if you mean a sales page, blog or sales site of more than one page I will keep this general.
The best and most effective methods for general site promotion and building of backlinks has to be Article writing and submission to publishers.
Now even though most ‘Gurus” recommend using Ezine Articles or similar sites like it, I have found it to be effective to a point, but now use an even more effective method where I submit different articles to over 2000 Ezine publishers on the internet.
The method I use is a little covert, but by no means is it Black Hat. It is completely White Hat and welcomed by all my ezine publishers and the search engines. It also isn’t an online service I use, it is actually a program I have which is quite unique in the way it takes my original articles and creates hundreds of unique articles and then submits them to ‘live’ (meaning they are actual people) Ezine publishers for consideration and publishing.
I have been considering opening this as a service to my blog readers, but as it takes quite a bit of time and effort (not an automated process) I can’t come to a conclusion as to how much I would need to charge for a service like this.
I’m open to feedback on this idea and if you would be interested to know more. Please leave your thoughts in the comments below.

It’s the Bugatti Veyron.
The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 is a mid-engine sports car produced by Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS introduced in 2005. It is the quickest accelerating and decelerating street-legal production car in the world, and was the world’s fastest street-legal production car until the introduction of the SSC Ultimate Aero Twin Turbo produced by Shelby SuperCars.
Powered by a 1,001 PS (987 hp/736 kW) W16 engine, it is able to achieve an average top speed of 407.47 km/h (253.19 mph). The car reached full production in September 2005, and is hand crafted in a factory Volkswagen built near the former Bugatti headquarters in Château St Jean in Molsheim (Alsace, France). It is named after French racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti firm.
Oh and to give you an idea why I said you would need an oil company to run it here are the fuel consumption specs. The Veyron consumes more fuel than any other production car, using 40.4 L/100 km (6.99 mpg imp/5.82 mpg US) in city driving and 24.1 L/100 km (11.7 mpg imp/9.76 mpg US) in combined cycle. At full throttle, it uses more than 115 L/100 km (2.46 mpg imp/2.05 mpg US), which would empty its 100 L (26 US gal/22 imp gal) fuel tank in just 12 minutes 46 seconds. This is a safety measure studied by the engineers because after 15 straight minutes at 253 mph the tires would melt.

If you’re serious about building an Internet Business you at least need to know some of the basics.
I knew nothing about how to build a web site and the knowledge I have now took me hours of looking at the source code of sites and then looking through books to find out what the codes meant and did (there weren’t as many resources on the Internet in 1998).
These days there are a number of resources which can make it a WHOLE LOT EASIER to build web sites, and one of them you may have recently downloaded yourself, EzyHTMLEditor.
You might be thinking to yourself that could be easier to pay someone to build the sites for you. I had some questions from Daniel Falk on my previous post that I’ll answer now.
Daniel asks:
1. Which PAD Submission software are you using, and why?
2. Do you find that Google is counting most of the links?
3. Are you using other promotion methods besides just this?
4. How many different keywords/PAD files do you use for each promotion?
The PAD submission software and methods I use are outlined in the package you can obtain from http://BuildBacklinks.EzyAs123.com and I highly recommend it of you are serious about repeating the success you have seen in the videos.
When it comes to Google you will find that they do list most of the links, but as I mentioned in the video, they will delist some of them over time to prevent duplicates. I’m sure you agree that over 13,000 listings for EzyFileZipper is still very impressive even if some of the listing have been removed.
The only other promotion method I am using for these packages is the videos you see above. There is one secret to this that I am sure you would love to know, and I’m happy to reveal part of it. I not only have these videos on YouTube, I also have them listed on about another 20 to 30 video sites and these all reference my site which rewards me with a backlink.
