  1. You must be somewhere nice and warm to be working outside! Sadly working outside for me is not an option right now – there is snow everywhere :(

I love summer though when I can sit on my front porch and work on my laptop with a nice tall glass of ice tea!

@Chelle@WAHM Jobs, it was VERY warm, too hot actually, but in the shade where I was working the temperature was more bearable. The best part is being able to do a little work no matter where I am.

  2. love the photo’s what a great enviornment to be working in it must be very inspiring. I think that’s why i enjoy working in different locations because it can be a source of creative ideas and also means that you don’t have to be tied to a physical location

  3. That looks like quite a nice place to do business!

I am personally experiencing problems with my iPhone being incompatible with my text-editor TinyMCE. Once they fix these issues, mobile editing becomes a serious option!

  5. OK, you’re convinced me to buy IPhone :) ) Apple should pay you for advertising their brand :) Oh, and I’m jealous of your conditions of work – in my place there’s a really snowy winter :(

Before you jump in and get yourself an iPhone do some research. Although they are really good they do have a few drawbacks.

These are the things I don’t like about the iPhone I have. I’ve heard they are bringing out a new one, although I don’t know if these things will be fixed.

    1. You can’t forward an SMS.
    2. You can’t save an SMS to send later.
    3. Sometimes the slider doesn’t work when trying to answer a call.
    4. You can’t send photos through MMS.
    5. The camera doesn’t have zoom.
    6. You can’t record a video.
    7. You can’t record a sound and use it as a ringtone.

That’s all I can think of for now and if anyone can tell me HOW I CAN do the things above I’d be happy to post your solutions on my blog for others to read.

As for my working conditions, those pictures were of when I went on a business trip. Where I work from home can get very cold, but it’s lucky I love cold weather. In the cold you can always put more clothes on, but in the heat you can only take so much off before you get arrested ;)

True that…I don’t actually consider the Iphone a full smartphone because of some of the things, and I just don’t like the proprietary nature of mac products in general. Still seems like a decent phone, but I think people make way too much of a fuss over it. It’s definitely the more “main stream” phone and some people will get it just because of that and don’t realize there’s alternatives that they may like better (or don’t care).

  6. Wow am I jealous. I get cramped up in an office all day dreaming of warm sunny weather and fresh air and you are living it!

  8. I’ve found that the one thing that helped me persuade many reluctant businesses to setup web presence was I had them ask themselves to think of the web as a 24/7/365 spokesperson. While you’re asleep, somewhere in the world–even in your own town–someone is surfing the web and may be in need of the product or service you offer. What is it that you want to have said in your absence or unavailability and who/what can do that? A website could. And it doesn’t have to start out ambitiously. It could evolve from basics and gradually include the “bells and whistles” each site owner sets.
