  1. Hi Ian,
I am on my way to buy it now, so that at least you have 1 happy customer. lol.
So, either this is a clever marketing ploy or
perhaps you have broke the mould, by not giving any refund / guarantee etc.. or the sales copy needs tweaked…. or is it because of the BIG YELLOW LINE AT THE TOP THAT SAYS YOUR BLOG HAS BEEN HACKED…..Hmmm I wonder. lol.
Anyways, I am simply giving you my professional advice.. for free of course…lol.

  2. The yellow banner about being hacked I am sure does not help. WordPress and membership sites are both “work” to alot of people. Yet both together is thank you but, no thank you to much work. This is just my point of view. The idea is different putting both together, points for you there.

  3. Hi Ian,
Yes I did go to purchase…I thought the videos and plug in looked good….but the downloadable option was not working…so I did email you. I only now got around to checking my emails…and found your reply.

Thanks very much for your 60% Discount Coupon offer…glad to accept it and purchase your videos once received.

    Lets move sales along!!

    kind regards,

  4. Ian,
Price! I have the same package offered for $17.00, sitting in my in-box. I think I represent the majority of consumers, people who bargain shop before making a purchase. I am also waiting to see if this package is offered for $7.00. I see too many products being offered for $7 to $9 after the launch for astronomical prices. I do not care about resale rights or “bonuses”, I just want the tool and instructions.

The practice of inflating the perceived value of a product with “bonuses”, so that the price can be inflated is reaching the realm of absurdity.

I know the “experts” say that this is how one makes more sales and money, but folk are becoming more aware of these techniques and are rejecting them.

I do give you props for the straight forward sales page you produced. No hysteria, no false urgency, just an honest sales pitch and explanation.

  5. I usually read all of your e-mails and respect your opinions. However, with all of the message traffic, the subject line got me interested, but I was side tracked to something else before I clicked on the blog.

There was no real compelling reason to click on the blog. I think more of a teaser with benefits would have been better.

I too am on the way to buy it.

  6. I think maintaining a membership site is hard work and people may be cautious about that, even if you have a good program.
