For me it looks like a scam — reasons:
I registered, downloaded it and installed it. But then I got this message “Unauthorized access (Email is incorrect, or your account has been disabled)”.
I logged in to my account: Everything was o.k.
BUT: There is NO support, NO contact address, nothing!
So I can not send a trouble ticket, no support question, NOTHING
Isn’t that just scam?

@Karl, I can honestly say it’s not a scam.
I did the same as you and had no problem getting the plugin working.
All I can suggest is you try and do it all again and see if that works.

Nothing Brad Callen does is a scam. he is one of the good guys in my opinion. Much of his stuff is free to start with but there is an upgrade path. But that’s business. Nice post. Thanks

I’ll have to check this program. I’m just learning how to promote my site with PPC campaign.
Do you think that upgrading to have my links appear in amazon is worth the cost when I mainly target middle-east Europe?

PPC WebSpy is not a scam. I played with it a bit and I can tell that it does what they promise it would do.

This doesn’t work. I tested it with my own adwords ad and it showed keywords that I am definitely not bidding on that have nothing to do with my site.

It is useful to segment your subscribers in order to target a specific audience within your list. Segmenting your list increases your response rates and reduces list fatigue, which occurs when people get tired of reading your messages and subsequently unsubscribe because the content is not relevant.
Here are examples of ways you can use this feature:
What is your age bracket?
*Response 1: ‘List Options’ –> ‘Segment List’
Here you will fill out your category description in the text fields provided. You can also pick from (and then edit) the sample categorizations that we have included.
Be sure to fill out the options to the right of each category text field. Categories can either be required, optional or hidden. Required and optional fields will be displayed automatically on your signup form, while hidden options are obscured from your subscribers. Hidden categories may be useful to group subscribers for your reference.
You can also allow your subscribers to select more than one response.
Enter as many categories as you would like in the spaces provided. When you are finished, select ‘Save’ to continue.
Reminder, DO NOT change any existing categories that already have subscriber responses as these responses will be for the original category.
Upon modifying categories, your signup form will be automatically updated.
To update your existing list to accommodate your changes you must:
* Copy and paste the new subscriber signup form to your website.
* Upload existing subscribers and tag them as belonging to your desired category.
To tag existing subscribers to a specific category, first create a text tab delimited file containing the email address and subscriber information that you want to update.
From your home page select ‘Add Subscribers’ –> ‘Upload an Existing List’
Choose the file on your computer for the list that you want to upload. In the event that you are updating information about your subscribers check the box to replace the existing information.
Under ‘Assign Categories’ on the upload page you will be able to tag this list to a specific category that you have previously created.
If you have existing addresses in your account and would like to re-categorize, export the list on the ‘manage list’ page. Under ‘Export List’ select ‘Active List Members’ and then ‘Export’. Segment your list into your previously created categories. Be sure to have a separate text file for each list segment. Then re-upload each category list. Under ‘Assign Categories’ assign your list to the appropriate category.

PPC produces good results until you stop your campaign. All efforts during the PPC are basically lost not soon after the campaign is ended.

Great Resource! I am adding your blog to my favorites, given my interest in finding domain names. One of the sites that can help find great name suggestions is http://www.squadhelp.com. Most individuals receive 200+ domain name suggestions in 2 days for just $50. It is an online community of people who submit ideas – and the best idea wins the award amount. It sure beats the time and energy I would have spent myself to come up with names. You might want to check them out. Just thought your readers might find it interesting!
