My First Go At Using ScribeFire

Filed Under (Cre8ive Tools, How To, Make Money Blogging, Plug Ins) by Ian on 20-08-2009

Not sure how this is going to turn out on my blog because this is the first time I’m using ScribeFire, a plugin for the supercalafragalistikexpialidoeshus browser FireFox.

I had it on a list of “Must Have FireFox Plugins” I wrote down sometime ago and never got around to installing.

ScribeFire was the one on the bottom of the list because I just wasn’t comfortable with yet another way to write a post on my blog.

But, I had some spare time, and wanted to try something new.

So here’s my first attempt.

All seems to be working fine so far :)

BTW if you want to get the plugin for your FireFox browser then you can grab ScribeFire here.

Have a fantastic Day.

  1. A lot of people request that ScribeFire be updated so that it can post to Twitter, since ScribeFire is a blogging tool and Twitter is a micro-blog. I don’t have any immediate plans to add this feature, since there is another Firefox add-on that satisfies this need in a way that complements ScribeFire.

  2. I’m having trouble with some FF plugins so I really don’t use too much plugin on it. However, I must give this one a try. Maybe I will find it useful. Thanks for sharing!

  6. I’ve had bad experience installing Scribfire. I think it’s my operating system’s problem though; it just wouldn’t install. But good to hear that you’ve had good experience with it.

  7. I heard it´s a nice feature especially if you want to add links quickly or post about other blogs without leaving your browser. Does it really save time and do you recommend it?

For making quick posts on your blog(s) I can fully recommend using ScribeFire.

Simple to use and easy to switch between blogs.

Also a good tool to use if you are in a business like mine where you install blogs for businesses and have to regularly make posts for them. I usually put aside one day a week to do posting and get it all done easily just by swapping from one blog to another without having to log into each one the long way.

  9. I’ve been using this plugin for quite a long time but still haven’t post any article to my blog by using this plugin.I just use this plugin to save my writing and paste it to my blog once I finish the writing. By the way, it’s nice to know that the plugin is doing well for your blog.

  10. I haven’t heard of this plugin yet, but it does seem pretty handy. If they updated it like Fitzroy talked about for Twitter that would make it better.
