CommentLuv: Best DoFollow Wordpress Plugin for Comments

Filed Under (Blogging Tools, Make Money Blogging) by Ian on 31-01-2008

In an effort to drive traffic to my blog, I spend at least 1 hour per day visiting other blogs and leaving comments. Obviously I do my best to find other blogs like mine which have the DoFollow plug-in installed. Not much point doing all that work if I’m not going to get something in return now is there?

During my visits to other blogs I started to notice many of them were using a particular plug-in. The plug-in I am referring to is commentluv. commentluv is a plug-in that not only rewards you with a DoFollow link, it also places a link to your last post under your comment, and all this is done automatically! Could there possibly be a better way to promote comments from your readers.

The commentluv Wordpress Plug-in will visit the blog feed of your blog address mentioned in the Website box and and attempt to scrape the last post you made then display it under your comment. Implement this same plug-in into your blog and you can encourage people to join in the discussion of your posts and give something back straight away.

Grab this plug-in today and start to share the CommentLuv.

Have an awesome day,

Ian Richardson

P.S. Remember me mentioning that I visit many blogs and leave comments. Well there is a specific method I use and a tool I will be releasing very soon. I’m still testing it’s effectiveness and so far all looks good. Subscribe to my blog posts and you will receive the secret password to the post where you will have a chance to get it free.

  1. Hi Ian,

thanks for the info about this neat little plugin. I like the idea. As my blog is just fresh up and running since 2 days now, i could sure benefit from attracting visitors not only with my content, but also with commentluv.

So i’m going to give it a try …

Oh, and your P.S. made me curious …

  2. Hi Michael,

    Thanks for your commentluv :)

I’ve only introduced this plug-in recently. I thought it would be nice to help people who leave comments here on my blog by having even more links back to their sites.

As you can see above you now have 2 links to your site. One is attached to your name and the other is under your comment to your last post.

As long as people leave valuable comments with some relevance to the post I am more than happy to approve it and give you links back to your site. (HINT about the PS)

Thank again Michael, look forward to reading more from you.

    Ian

PS Considering the fact you just started your blog you might be interested in the Intern Program I am working on. It’s not ready just yet as there is quite a bit involved. Keep and eye out for when I release it.

  9. Hello Ian,

I think you are way more advanced than me and could clear something up…

    In your article, you say

commentluv is a plug-in that not only rewards you with a DoFollow link, it also places a link to your last post under your comment, and all this is done automatically!”

My research has shown that commentluv does not always reward you with a DoFollow link. Many of the commentluv blogs I have visited do not have the DoFollow plugin…so the trick is to find commentluv blogs that also have the Dofollow plugin…Here is what I put in Google to get me started..

“Enable commentluv which will try and get your last blog post, please be patient” dofollow (including the quote marks)

Please if I am incorrect I would appreciate being lead in the right direction.

I wonder how many people still post comments on blogs that dont follow thinking they are doing something good for their site? Cool sounding plugin though, and as I also use WordPress for my blog, I will look into using it.

There are other techniques to get better ranking in Technorati. Some of these I will be covering in future posts. I am also building a lot of information about this in the Intern Program I am putting together. This is taking a little longer than expected as I am now involved in a large project. Sorry for the delay everyone, but it is still in progress and I will release it ONLY when I am 100% happy it will help you all grow an Internet Business.

    Deb.
You are correct in saying you need to have both commentluv and the DoFollow plugin to pass on the most benefit to people like yourself who leave comments. Your tip on how to search for these blogs is great, thanks.

    Shaun.
There are still a number of people who use ineffective methods like Comment Spamming in the hope of gaining more back links. Again, I will cover more effective methods in the Intern Program which I have been using successfully over the past months.

Thanks again everyone for leaving valuable comments and I hope my commentluv gives some value back to your sites.

commentluv helps you reward your commentators by separating their name from their keywords in the link to their site. This gives them improved anchor text, which can help their site rank higher in the search engine results.
You can now leave a comment with your name as well as a keyword of your choice here and get a PR5 link back to your site! How cool is that? People pay big bucks for that and all you have to do is comment here.

  68. Thre is two benefits of a comment-luv plugin, over just an ordinary do-follow one: It enables you to comment while adding your keywords to the do-follow command, in other words it will give you link juice now, since the link from such a site is “referring” to a destination. These words give recognition from the site to the other one saying: You may go there, they are good at: “Make easy money”.
The other thing is that your last post get a link, and depending on yourself, you can build quite a bunch of backlinks before writing a new post.
