CommentLuv: Best DoFollow Wordpress Plugin for Comments

EzyAs123

In an effort to drive traffic to my blog, I spend at least 1 hour per day visiting other blogs and leaving comments. Obviously I do my best to find other blogs like mine which have the DoFollow plug-in installed. Not much point doing all that work if I’m not going to get something in return now is there?

During my visits to other blogs I started to notice many of them were using a particular plug-in. The plug-in I am referring to is CommentLuv. CommentLuv is a plug-in that not only rewards you with a DoFollow link, it also places a link to your last post under your comment, and all this is done automatically! Could there possibly be a better way to promote comments from your readers.

The CommentLuv Wordpress Plug-in will visit the blog feed of your blog address mentioned in the Website box and and attempt to scrape the last post you made then display it under your comment. Implement this same plug-in into your blog and you can encourage people to join in the discussion of your posts and give something back straight away.

Grab this plug-in today and start to share the CommentLuv.

Have an awesome day,

Ian Richardson

P.S. Remember me mentioning that I visit many blogs and leave comments. Well there is a specific method I use and a tool I will be releasing very soon. I’m still testing it’s effectiveness and so far all looks good. Subscribe to my blog posts and you will receive the secret password to the post where you will have a chance to get it free.

    1. Hi Ian,

thanks for the info about this neat little plugin. I like the idea. As my blog is just fresh up and running since 2 days now, i could sure benefit from attracting visitors not only with my content, but also with CommentLuv.

So i’m going to give it a try …

Oh, and your P.S. made me curious …

    2. Hi Michael,

      Thanks for your CommentLuv :)

I’ve only introduced this plug-in recently. I thought it would be nice to help people who leave comments here on my blog by having even more links back to their sites.

As you can see above you now have 2 links to your site. One is attached to your name and the other is under your comment to your last post.

As long as people leave valuable comments with some relevance to the post I am more than happy to approve it and give you links back to your site. (HINT about the PS)

Thank again Michael, look forward to reading more from you.

      Ian

PS Considering the fact you just started your blog you might be interested in the Intern Program I am working on. It’s not ready just yet as there is quite a bit involved. Keep and eye out for when I release it.

    3. G’day Ian,

I’ve been using Comment Luv for a few months now, and it has been really good for building a community aspect to my blog.

    4. CommentLuv is so righteous! I can’t believe it. This may be a godsend. And I don’t even believe in god. I am a heartless, irreverent, souless, crazy lunatic! But all I can say is THANK YOU JESUS!

This plug-in does use the RSS feed but I am not sure which one. It all works automatically.

    8. This is awesome! After checking out some of these sites I see they are still getting quality comments!
May i will put this things in my blog too :)

    9. Hello Ian,

I think you are way more advanced than me and could clear something up…

      In your article, you say

“CommentLuv is a plug-in that not only rewards you with a DoFollow link, it also places a link to your last post under your comment, and all this is done automatically!”

My research has shown that CommentLuv does not always reward you with a DoFollow link. Many of the CommentLuv blogs I have visited do not have the DoFollow plugin…so the trick is to find CommentLuv blogs that also have the Dofollow plugin…Here is what I put in Google to get me started..

“Enable CommentLuv which will try and get your last blog post, please be patient” dofollow (including the quote marks)

Please if I am incorrect I would appreciate being lead in the right direction.

    11. Thanks for the information, I did see the link below that mentioned CommentLuv, but wasnt sure what it was. And yes, I agree with you about leaving comments on other blogs that use DoFollow. I wonder how many people still post comments on blogs that dont follow thinking they are doing something good for their site? Cool sounding plugin though, and as I also use WordPress for my blog, I will look into using it.

      Murad.
There are other techniques to get better ranking in Technorati. Some of these I will be covering in future posts. I am also building a lot of information about this in the Intern Program I am putting together. This is taking a little longer than expected as I am now involved in a large project. Sorry for the delay everyone, but it is still in progress and I will release it ONLY when I am 100% happy it will help you all grow an Internet Business.

      Deb.
You are correct in saying you need to have both CommentLuv and the DoFollow plugin to pass on the most benefit to people like yourself who leave comments. Your tip on how to search for these blogs is great, thanks.

      Shaun.
There are still a number of people who use ineffective methods like Comment Spamming in the hope of gaining more back links. Again, I will cover more effective methods in the Intern Program which I have been using successfully over the past months.

Thanks again everyone for leaving valuable comments and I hope my CommentLuv gives some value back to your sites.

      Ian

Justin: Links are spidered, thus the reason I wanted to include it for people who leave valuable comments.

Nick: Thanks for the feedback. I’m always trying to make this blog better and better.

Regarding the Intern program. It’s currently still being built because I am making sure everything I teach is relevant and will help you if you follow my instructions then once finished you will have everything you need to establish a successful Internet Business.

    22. On one blog I help maintain the number of quality comments about tripled with the commentluv plugin running. The number of useless posts didn’t really change as they are usually automated anyway.

    23. Hi, nice review on comment luv. I have plan to install it in my blog as well. But have postponed the plan since last week :(

I saw someone set her comment luv, so that only top ten commenter or so get their last blog post shown. I wonder if she edit it her own way or what.

      Nice blog Ian! :)

    24. It’s a great plugins. I have it on two blogs now and am about to add the Drupal module that does the same to my Drupal sites.

    25. if you search “This blog uses CommentLuv v1.0 which will try and parse your last blog post, please be patient while it finds it for you” followed by your keywords you will find sites that are related to you and give some CommentLuv. This may see worthless, but it does help you build up a community.

      Sending some CommentLuv at you.

    26. Yes it is a wonderful plugin. Only thing is he takes my feedburner feed and I do not know how to redirect him to the permalink on my page.

I will have to look around your site to see if you have mentioned the blog commenting software again.

    30. Unfortunately I do not think all CommentLuv enabled blogs are also DoFollow (like yours is) - I have SEO for firefox installed on my computer so I can see when a site is DoFollow or not, and I see yours is. But many of the CommentLuv enabled blogs I have found are not. Anyway - I do want to add this plugin to my own site. It’s a good thing.

    31. I’ve never heard of commentluv before. It’s a great idea, definitely seems like it’d be good for blogs since it would get more people involved and motivated to engage in discussion.

I thought wordpress was automatically nofollow, did it change?

    32. thanks for content I use this too :)

    33. I’ve been researching how to reward people who comment on my blog. I have found a lot of love out there for CommentLuv and KeywordLove (pun intended). Thanks for the review of the plugin.

    34. I think this plugin is one of the best ever created for use with wordpress and i would encourage anyone who use wordpress for blogging to use it.

    36. This is a great plugin for link building. I often go on other blogs and post comments as well (great way to take advantage of Do-Follow)

      Thanks!

    37. Thanks for this information, Ian. One query — from what I’ve read elsewhere, and some personal experience, it appears that when search engines find 2 or more links on a web page to one particular website, it only counts one link. I might be wrong here?

    38. Thanks for the info.
I was seriously amazed how many more readers and commenter’s I seem to have got when i switched to do follow.
To be honest im getting so many comments that im struggling to moderate them all, iv managed to tweak and tweak to a point where iv got rid of most of the spam but i dont wanna risk any seeping through by putting the comment mod on auto.

    39. Oh, that’s what plugin people are using to show the latest post. I remember seeing a plugin that showed only the latest post, but I didn’t know there was a combo plugin with dofollow. Thanks, for sharing.

    40. keywordluv and commentluv are the best combo for a dofollow blog, this two plugins will surely increase your traffic and interaction with other bloggers.

    43. Unfortunately I am already invested (if that is the right term, it really didn’t cost me anything) in a Blogger Blog but someday I want to learn about Wordpress as i think from all I read it is the best and then I can use comment luv too.
