Count your scars and wounds to me (Delaverian Rambling thoughts) - “This is why I like John Delavera!”

EzyAs123

I received this email from John today.

I think you will see why I feel so fortunate to have this John as my friend and mentor.

————————————————————–

Hi people.

I wrote 1 article today.

It’s called “Don’t use that Monkey Marketing “Joe” - I am not stupid.”

You can find it on my blog.

And now I am writing the second article which I shall also post to my blog.

If you have some time, please read below. If you are “busy” then things can wait. So again, please read below.

Today, just some minutes ago, one of my mentorees suggested me to watch the movie “Facing the Giants” and also sent to me a URL for a short video in YouTube.

My mentoree told me I’d watch that video, because it represents the way he feels about me. For him, I am the coach that knows “the ways to get more out of” him than he
thought was there.

I have not seen the movie, but I watched that short video.

And I almost cried. *Almost.*

why, you’re asking…

You must watch the video in order to understand how I felt.

You must also watch that video in order to understand the following.

Here is the link just in case it didn’t work above.

http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=09366DDD8966E47B

I know how hard it is to reach success online. I know it because, as I have already told you many times in the past, I started with 1 subscriber, 1 product and 1 vision.

… ok… did you watch the video? … if not please do it now, so you can understand what I am saying below.

Did you see that coach? Did you see how hard that player tried?

Did you notice that the player stopped just a bit before the white line? His Success?

Well ladies and gentlemen…

That is all about… That’s what I have been talking to you about all these years… Thankfully, I needed that video to work as a reminder inside me.

For that and for everything: Thank you Jim - my mentoree.

The analogy now:

I am the coach. You are the player.

The white line on the end of the road is your Success.

My obligation is to lead you there. Otherwise I am not a good coach.

OR: you did not try hard.

Can you grasp the point?

That “OR” makes the difference.

I know what YOU need to do.

Needless to say: I KNOW because I have been an anonymous player too. I had no coach. And actually there was no sign of a white line… I only had my vision, 1 subscriber and 1
product.

It seems that my vision worked.

BUT IT WAS HARD… because I was the coach of myself. I had nobody.

There had been 100s of times I wanted to quit…

… because it was hard.

And I was saying to myself:

“If it was not that hard, then EVERYBODY could do it.”

I did not reach that white line many times. You know what I have done right. You do not know how many things I have done in the wrong way, while I was a student of my errors,
while I was an anonymous player.

What would have happened if in 1 of those bad times I had stopped?

Probably you could not use JVManager today. :) No Turbomembership.com either…

Now tell me about you.

You are reading these lines because you either want to kill your time, or you want to create something on the Net, or because you know what you must do but it seems that you
cannot bring results.

Or you’re a famous player in the market already. In this case, you understand better what I am saying here, right?

Let me ask you something.

Have you felt the pain?

Yet?

Have you felt THAT frustration which almost forced you to quit?

Have you felt you’re so near to your dreams but not that much to live in your dreams without being able to explain why?

Have you felt the conspiracy against your dreams? When everybody is against what you do, some people may also laugh at you? When everything seems to bring no results?

When everything you do leads you nowhere?

I do not want to scare you tonight but it is more difficult than you can imagine. Especially if your target is the arena of Internet Marketing, it’s by far much more difficult than you could ever imagine.

But I am sure you know that, right?

So…

What do you do then? DO you quit?

Because it is THAT hard?

Easy way eh?

You can try some other coaches that promise you a better method instead of asking from you to work hard in order to reach your Goals.

Right?

You could do that. You may have done it already.

And then?

What will you do when the easy road to Heaven was nothing but a false promise?

Will you try another easy method? Will you try to prove you’re lucky?

Nope.

There is no luck you know.

Or to be precise: There is a long queue in front of the cashier of Luck, and priority is given to people with wounds and scars they created by all of their failures trying to reach the white line of their Success. Luck is reserved by those that dare to fail.

Again please do not get me wrong.

I do not want to scare you or to boast here.

But you need to understand.

Failures is your power.

Count the failures and you have the numbers of lessons you got in your life.

IF you do not quit.

Your failures is your strength. No failures and no pain mean there is a long way in front of you. But even this fact should not halt your efforts.

The prize is unbelievably wonderful. The sense of freedom you will feel justifies all of your efforts when you reach that line.

But until then….

Just keep going. Do not quit.

Remember that if it was that easy, then EVERYBODY could do what you are trying to do right now.

Success is a personal matter. Especially for you, especially for marketers.

It’s you, your vision and that white line on the end. It’s you, the dark sea, the sharks, and the coast. The only way to find out if you will reach that coast is to keep swimming.

I am writing these lines just in case you are not a good coach of yourself, and you cannot find or cannot get a coach.

I am targeting specific souls.

If you are my target, then hopefully you will get my points here.

Hopefully I shall make some of you to “keep going.”

Hopefully I shall help some of you to understand what success demands from you…

…YOUR VERY BEST.

Hopefully I shall make some of you to understand today that the feeling of pain should be considered as the advantage of “another lesson” instead of a negative feeling of failure and you need that lesson in order to “keep going” when others stop.

Keep going. This is what you must do. With wounds and scars. With tears in your eyes and scared soul.

Just keep going.

Because if you will not, then either I am a bad coach…

… OR you are not a good player.

In both cases, there are 100s of players that want to continue from where you stopped. I shall be here. You will be out of the terrain.

Thankfully, a mentoree reminded to me all the above tonight.

You can thank Jim for that. You’re going to hear about Jim soon.

Back to business.

Enjoy!
