Filed Under (Copywriting) by Ian Richardson on 02-12-2008

You might remember last week I asked for your vote on a Copywriting eCourse I was considering making available for you at a very reasonable price for what it covered. Towards the end of last week I made the course available at a special price and also posted about it with a limited time countdown.

What’s confused me is that even though 12 people voted YES for wanting the course NO ONE has purchased it.

What have I done wrong??????

Copywriting eCourse

Filed Under (Copywriting, Make Money Blogging) by Ian on 23-11-2008

You know, I used to think copywriting was only possible by the specially trained people who could write using a special secret formula only available to the few, but in fact it’s not as hard as you might think if you follow some specific guidelines, and in some cases (especially writing sales pages) forgetting what you learnt in English classes. This is something I’m still battling with because my mother always taught me to use “proper” English when writing, especially things like not starting a sentence with “And” or “But”. I don’t know about you but it still rubs me the wrong way when I read a sales page and see this happening.

In my pursuit for knowledge on how to be more successful with my copywriting I have collected a number of key points and strategies which I am considering making available through a 52 week copywriting course and at possibly the lowest membership fee I’ve ever considered and I’d like your opinion before I release it.

Here’s a list of the emails you will receive once a week for the next 52 weeks. I’m making it weekly so you can read, research and absorb what is being presented to you before you receive the next instalment.

Master CopyWriting – How to write killer mini-pages

Filed Under (Copywriting, How To, Website) by Ian on 10-10-2006

Are you sick and tired of coming up with the right words and phrases to use for your advertisements?

This is the most common problem that writers encounter. Time is wasted and efforts are shattered. After long hours of writing and you haven’t come up with anything yet, maybe you need help.

Did anybody say they liked writing? Probably those who would utter those lines are those who are taking up journalism in their first year or a liar or a freak maybe.

Would you like to be locked up at your desk work for days working for a particular website? Of course not.

Master CopyWriting – How to write compelling headlines

Filed Under (Copywriting, Cre8ive Tools, How To) by Ian on 05-10-2006

Headlines play a vital role of presenting the front lines in any marketing strategy. When you want to be heard and seen, headlines are the best way to grab attention and tell the people what’s new.

It’s the first thing that your customers see. It is your one big chance to influence and attract the targeted audience with your message. Not all people in the world get to read your ads, so don’t think that your product won’t interest them.

The best thing to keep their heads turning is by your compelling headlines that will let them decide by their first glance.

Your headline must command enough attention so that it will back up your advertisement and keep it effective. If both do not work properly, your advertisement will definitely not be effective.
