How Affiliate Marketers Can Give Google the Slap!

Filed Under (Affiliate Marketing, Breaking News, Cre8ive Tools) by Ian Richardson on 27-11-2009

I’ve used a lot of different affiliate marketing methods and find one of them to be the most effective.

Article marketing is cool, except the article directory gets to keep all the ad revenue and they are getting more particular about what articles they accept.

Review sites are OK, but does anyone really trust the reviews they read on those sites any more? Most people know by now that review sites are just disguised sales pitches and aren’t honest reviews.

Social media is fun, but it has its limits. It’s more about socializing, less about doing business. Sure, you can make connections there but at the end of the day the lion’s share of your profits likely isn’t coming from social media.

Is Affiliate Marketing Part of Your Business Strategy?

Filed Under (Affiliate Marketing, Make Money Blogging) by Ian Richardson on 26-10-2008

NOTE: There is a special limited time offer in this post!

There are two primary methods you can employ in order to use affiliate marketing as part of your overall business marketing strategy. You can either be an affiliate marketer yourself or you can allow others to become affiliate marketers of your products. Either way, you create a win-win situation for the owner of the product as well as the affiliate marketer.

Become an Affiliate Marketer

Affiliate marketing is a popular way to make money online. There are literally millions of affiliate marketers all around the globe. You have probably purchased products from an affiliate marketer, although you may not have known at the time that the person you purchased the product from was an affiliate marketer. Affiliate marketers sell products that others have created and in return, they get to keep a portion of the profits, like a commission. Some affiliate marketers are very good at marketing; however, they either don’t want to create their own products, don’t know how to, or don’t have the capital. This way, they can make money online without having to create anything themselves.

Affiliate Marketing, Selling OPP (Other People’s Products)

Filed Under (Affiliate Marketing, Make Money Blogging) by Ian Richardson on 09-09-2008

Perhaps you weren’t blessed with the gift to write compelling information products, craft hot selling giftware, develop “killer app” software or any of the other product creation skills that some marketers have. Maybe it’s not in your budget to buy up a wholesale lot of designer handbags for resale. In fact, you’re totally new to Internet Marketing and you don’t know what to do or what’s worth investing in. Congratulations! You’re the perfect candidate for affiliate marketing.

Affiliate sales are your ticket to earning a commission on the sale of goods or services provided by other people. Just as each person has unique strengths and skills, many companies can provide excellent products and services, but have a problem when it comes to marketing them. They have built the better mousetrap – but really suck at getting the word out to the general public. Rather than paying for expensive advertising campaigns, they hire an affiliate manager and create a batch of graphic advertising (called “creative”) that affiliates can use to present the product or service to the consumer.

Each affiliate has a unique link or code that identifies who drove the sale to the merchant. Affiliates are often referred to as “publishers”, since most have Web sites or blogs that contain information and content related to their offerings. These publishers choose among the many thousands of programs out there and develop a presentation aimed at “pre-selling” the merchant’s wares. When a sale is made, a commission is credited to the publisher and will be paid according to the terms and conditions of the agreement between the two.

My honest opinion

Filed Under (Affiliate Marketing) by Ian Richardson on 11-07-2008

This post may be a little late for some of you because you could have already jumped in. It’s obvious that everyone online who is anyone is promoting Google Nemesis and offering a range of bonuses to convince you to buy from them, and if you find a good offer I encourage you to go ahead.

The reason this post is so late is because I wanted to dive in myself and have a good read and look around before I recommended it to you (my reader) because I know you trust my opinion on these things.

Ok, so I’ve joined the first stage at $67/month and also taken the one time offer for another $47/month just so I could have a good look inside before I let you know my thoughts.

Everybody wants to make money on line. Why, because they’ve heard it’s easy, that the World Wide Web is the new Eldorado and all you have to do is throw up a website and watch the money pour in.

Well the rumour is true.

You can make money on line and you can make it by putting up a website, but let’s think for a while – what do people search for when they use the internet?

The answer is information and content. Not just any content, but high quality content.

Grab a Piece of YouTube 200 Million Viewers & Watch Your Sales Soar…

Filed Under (Affiliate Marketing, Cre8ive Tools, How To, Vidternet (Video on Internet)) by Ian on 13-07-2007

With numbers ranging from over 200-300 million views per day, it’s hard NOT to consider YouTube in any serious marketing strategy. But if you’re familiar with YouTube, you know that means video production.

However, if you take a look at the majority of videos on YouTube, they seem to fall into three types of videos. Webcams, hobby videos, and professional.

Scratch the first two types if you’re serious about using video in your business. I mean, there used to be a day when you could throw a crappy video together and pass it off as a “guerilla” video. But those days are long over. Today most customers expect business videos to be high quality and professional.

Announcing The Launch Of Affiliate Page Pro

Filed Under (Affiliate Marketing, How To, Internet Marketing Tactics) by Ian on 22-05-2007

Well it’s good news for product owners because someone has finally filled an obvious lack in the majority of affiliate programs.

Product owners with affiliate programs (especially ClickBank) have been fighting with one arm tied behind their back, when they couldn’t contact their affiliates and especially when they didn’t provide them with the proper promotional tools. Imagine you’re a big company with hundreds of sales people but you expect them to do everything themselves and you don’t/can’t talk to them at all. It’s RIDICULOUS!

Well Affiliate Page Pro will change all that because it makes it ridiculously easy to create an affiliate page within less than 15 minutes. And not just any affiliate page either; Affiliate Page Pro generates a professional affiliate page to…

1) Collect your affiliates contact details…
